Courtney Boho Marincsin is an aviation accident attorney and whistleblower attorney at the firm. She is a tenacious and experienced litigator and trial lawyer, learning from her mentors at Clifford Law Offices. Courtney began clerking at the firm while she was still in law school, and there is no better way to become familiar with a case than being thrown into the fire as a young lawyer.

Working for injured people or those in need is not something new for Courtney, and has actually helped her in becoming a whistleblower and aviation accident attorney. She worked in public service for many elected officials in several governmental offices from the Department of Commerce to the United States Senate office of Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania where she responded to constituent needs and helped run his re-election campaign in Philadelphia.

Courtney feels most at home at Clifford Law Offices where she is immersed in many difficult cases as an aviation accident attorney and has handled aviation litigation, medical malpractice and product liability. However, her major area of expertise is in qui tam law and litigating False Claims Act matters. As a whistleblower attorney, Courtney helped litigate a case against Medline Industries, Inc., one of the nation's largest suppliers of medical and surgical products to healthcare providers throughout the United States, along with its charitable arm The Medline Foundation (collectively, "Medline"). This case, in which the federal government did not intervene, resulted in an $85 million settlement to the federal government to resolve the firm's Relator, Sean Mason's, False Claims Act allegations against Medline. Mason alleged that Medline engaged in a widespread illegal kickback scheme targeting hospitals and other healthcare providers that purchase medical and surgical products paid for by federal healthcare programs, resulting in violations of the federal False Claims Act. The settlement is among the largest settlements of a False Claims Act case in which the government declined to intervene. As part of the Clifford whistleblower attorney team, Courtney is currently working on numerous False Claims Act cases, many in the healthcare industry, financial sector and educational arena.

A graduate of Loyola University School of Law in Chicago, Courtney worked full time as a clerk at Clifford Law Offices while attending class and maintaining a grade point that put her on the Dean's List. She also finds time to work with various projects of the American Bar Association as well as helping the Chicago Bar Association, and is an active member of the qui tam bar "TAF". She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University in Philadelphia where she majored in Philosophy and Ethics, an area that she constantly taps as she moves forward with her legal career.

Courtney is married and lives with her husband, Edward Marincsin, in Chicago. She is an avid practitioner of yoga, and in her downtime she trains for marathons and triathlons while running with her dog Dolce.
