Top plaintiff and defense lawyers in Chicago gathered May 17, 2005, for a summit along with Cook County Commissioner Larry Suffredin and moderator Joel Weisman, an Emmy Award Winning commentator on WTTW in Chicago. Robert A. Clifford, who has been at the forefront in educating consumers on the important issues surrounding unnecessary reforms to the state's civil justice system, was asked to participate on the panel. Clifford Law Offices also was a co-sponsor of the event. The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin hosted the morning symposium that was attended by about 100 people in Chicago.
