Question: Under the state's new medical marijuana law, will children be allowed to use the drug? Answer: Children who reside in Illinois and have a qualifying medical condition will be allowed access to the drug. Those younger than 18 will need permission from a parent or legal guardian and must receive approval from their treating physician and a second doctor.
