Missouri School Bus Crash Leaves Two Dead
Two people reportedly are dead after two buses carrying high school band students to the Six Flags amusement park were involved in an accident with a tractor-trailer.
It has not been confirmed who was killed, but aerial photographs of the scene on Interstate 44 near Gray Summit showed the deadly wreckage.
The incident, which occurred about 32 miles west of St. Louis, reportedly involved students from St. James High School band students who were headed to the amusement park. A spokeswoman for SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center in St. Louis told the media that 36 children were en route to the hospital.
