Clifford Law Offices Partners Head up Trial Practice Seminar
Press Release, 01/18/2001Jeffrey Kroll, partner at Clifford Law Offices, is the Program Planning Co-Chair of a day- long seminar on trial advocacy Saturday, Jan. 20, at the DoubleTree Guest Suites Hotel in Chicago.
The "Point/Counterpoint Seminar" is sponsored by the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association andwill feature plaintiff and defense lawyers offering their perspectives on a multitude of trial practice issues of vital importance to the personal injury bar in the state.
Kevin Durkin, also a partner at Clifford Law Offices, is one of the speakers who will address the plaintiff’s perspective on investigating railroad accidents. Durkin is a co-lead plaintiffs’counsel in the mass transit disaster involving the Bourbonnais Amtrak train crash that killed 11 people and injured more than 100 others in March,1999. Clifford Law Offices represents some two dozen passengers who were injured in that train-truck crash.
Mr. Durkin also has represented many other victims injured or killed in train accidents around the state.
