Clifford to Speak on Military Tribunals at ABA Mid-Year Meeting

Clifford, Chair of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation, will speak at a program entitled “Confronting Racial/Ethnic Profiling in the New Millennium: The Dilemma of Arab Americans and Inediviudals of the Muslim Faith” at the ABA Mid-Year Meeting Sunday (Feb. 3).
Clifford, along with William Haddad, Executive Director, and Rouhy Shalabi, President of the Arab-American Bar Association in Chicago, will travel to Philadelphia to join a panel to debate this timely topic.
Clifford recently was appointed by the President of the ABA to serve as Chair of the Task Force on Terrorism and the Law which advises congressional, executive, state and local leaders on the legal ramifications following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on America.
