Robert A. Clifford Inducted as Illinois State Delegate to ABA House of Delegates
Press Release, 09/01/2005Powerhouse personal injury attorney, Robert A. Clifford of Chicago, was inducted as the Illinois State Delegate to the American Bar Association House of Delegates at its Annual Meeting in Chicago the first week of August.
Clifford won a contested state-wide race for the seat that carries a three-year term. The House of Delegates is the policy-making body that makes recommendations to the ABA House of Governors on various issues that impact the 400,000-member national organization as well as practicing attorneys across the country.
Clifford, 54, served as Chair of the Section of Litigation, the ABA’s largest section with some 70,000 members, in 2001-02. He has served in numerous other positions for the ABA spanning the last 25 years.
Clifford is principal partner of Clifford Law Offices, a firm that concentrates in personal injury and wrongful death as well as complex commercial litigation matters.
