Robert Clifford Invited to Join Inner Circle of Advocates
Press Release, 02/07/2003Top trial attorney Robert A. Clifford has been invited to be a member of the prestigious Inner Circle of Advocates. The organization, founded 31 years ago, is by invitation only and is comprised of outstanding trial lawyers throughout the country.
The group, limited to just 100 lawyers, requires that each attorney have tried at least 50 jury trials and have won at least one million-dollar award. According to its founder, Richard Grand, the purpose of the group is to allow experienced plaintiffs attorneys "to share information about whatever it takes to be a great trial lawyer."
Clifford, 52, is the Immediate Past Chair of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation. One of his most celebrated cases was that of Rachel Barton, internationally acclaimed violinist, who was injured in a train accident. Following a month-long trial, Clifford obtained a $29.6 million verdict which settled last year for $35 million following appeals.
