Suit Filed Against the Makers and Designers of Concrete Planter Boxes
Chicago Tribune, 08/21/1997Court report: Chicago attorney Bob Clifford, representing Chicago cops Andre Van Vegten and Matthew Koman, will file suit Thursday in Cook County Circuit Court against the makers and designers of the newly installed concrete planter boxes on numerous city median strips. Van Vegten and Koman were seriously hurt when, answering an emergency call, their squad car plowed into the Cicero Avenue boxxes near 50th Street.
