Bob Clifford Elected as Trustee to Supreme Court Historical Society
Press Release, 06/10/2009Robert Clifford was elected as one of 17 new trustees of the Supreme Court Historical Society.
Founded by Supreme Court Justice Warren Burger in 1974, the Supreme Court Historical Society was incorporated for the purpose of expanding public awareness of the history and heritage of the Supreme Court of the United States.
The private, non-profit organization accomplishes this mission by supporting historical research, collecting artifacts and antiques relating to the Court's history, sponsoring lectures that are open to the public, and publishing books, journals and other materials relating to the Court.
Dan Webb of Chicago also was elected as a Trustee.
