Kevin Durkin Speaks at Chicago Bar and Dublin Bar Joint Meeting
Press Release, 09/16/2009Kevin P. Durkin, partner at Clifford Law Offices, will be speaking Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, at a joint meeting of the Chicago Bar Association (CBA) and the Dublin Solicitor’s Bar Association.
Durkin, who has been recognized for record verdicts and outstanding trial work, will be part of the first panel entitled, “Comparative Law Analysis as Between the Respective Civil and Criminal Justice Systems in Both Ireland and the U.S., Their Differences and Respective Strengths.”
The Hon. William J. Bauer of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, will moderate the panel which includes Durkin, former President of the CBA; the Hon. Thomas Hogan of the Law Division of the Cook County Circuit Court; David Rafferty, Chicago attorney; as well as Cahir O’Higgins a criminal law practitioner in Dublin, and Stuart Gilhooly, an attorney in Dublin.
The morning program will be held at the CBA, 321 S. Plymouth Ct., with welcome remarks from Judge Bauer and Kevin O’Higgins, President of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association, to begin at 9:15 a.m. For further information, please contact the CBA at 312-554-2000.
