Partners Invited to Speak at Legal Seminars
Press Release, 10/09/2006Matthew L. Willens, partner at Clifford Law Offices, spoke at a Chicago Bar Association program in September entitled "90 Days Before Trial: The Final Countdown." His topic to the filled room was, "Detailing Your Case for Trial." The program was sponsored by the CBA’s Continuing Legal Education Committee.
Also, Timothy S. Tomasik, partner, spoke at the Illinois Trial Lawyers’ Association Update and Review Seminar on Oct. 9 on "Apparent Agency." He discussed the impact of the Illinois Supreme Court’s decision in the York v. Rush case affirming the $13 million verdict that Robert A. Clifford and Tomasik obtained against Rush Presbyterian Hospital for the negligent acts of its apparent agent.
Both programs will be applying for Continuing Legal Education credit.
