Richard Burke Speaks at Ethics Seminar
Press Release, 05/17/2007Richard F. Burke, Jr., partner at Clifford Law Offices, speaks at the Chicago Bar Association’s program entitled "Navigating the Moral Compass" on June 7.
The afternoon program examines the impact of work-life balance on ethical behavior as well as tales from the trenches. Also speaking that afternoon is Lt. Colonel V. Stuart Couch of the Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals. He discusses his ethical dilemma in prosecuting Guantanamo Bay prisoners amid speculation that evidence was tainted by torture. Panelists weigh in with strategies in setting a moral compass at the workplace.
