Robert Clifford to Speak on Direct Examination
Web Release, 04/30/2009Robert Clifford has been invited to speak on “Direct Examination” in a program sponsored by the Chicago Bar (CBA) Association College of Trial Advocacy.
Held at the Richard J. Daley Center from 3-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, the program also features panelists Anita M. Alvarez, Cook County State’s Attorney, and the Honorable Mark Filip, though, now an attorney at Kirkland & Ellis. The Honorable Thomas M. Donnelly of the Cook County Circuit Court also will speak on the topic.
The program, which offers 4.5 hours of continuing legal education credit, is limited to 64 attendees. Dinner is included as well as a small breakout groups to practice direct examination followed by analysis and critique by lawyer coaches.
Bob Clifford is expected to be sworn in as the CBA Second Vice President in late June.
