Marcia was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 1987. In 1991, together with her husband and family, the Stenn Fund for Ovarian Cancer Research was created to support the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and to help patients and their families suffering with ovarian cancer. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University who exemplify the spirit of Anderson’s excellence in care and commitment to her patients. Anderson demonstrated her compassionate care and friendship to the Stenn family and Marcia throughout her battle with cancer.
