ABA Day at Northern Illinois University College of Law
Web Release, 04/09/2009A special ABA Day was held April 8 at Northern Illinois University College of Law with the goal of encouraging law students to learn the value of association membership.
Aimed at guiding students in ways to secure jobs despite the depressed economy, ABA Day at NIU featured networking opportunities with association members, résumé reviews, job-hunting tips and a year’s ABA membership for student attendees that Bob Clifford has generously offered to fund. The day-long event was well attended by students as well as several attorneys who joined them at the networking reception.
A similar program is being planned at Loyola Law School and John Marshall Law School in the fall.
