$374,430 Verdict For Man Injured on CTA Bus
Press Release, 10/21/2004Matthew Willens, associate at Clifford Law Offices, obtained a $374,430 verdict Oct. 19 on behalf a 41-year-old man who was injured on a CTA bus.
Tony Talbot, formerly of Chicago, was standing on the Route 156 bus heading to Union Station when the driver hit a bump in the road. Talbot was thrown into the air and landed on his right heel, fracturing it. Talbot underwent surgery to insert a metal plate and screws. He remained in a cast for several months.
Willens obtained the verdict in Cook County Circuit Court following a week-long trial with Craig Squillace, also an associate at Clifford Law Offices.
