Clifford Files Case Against Cook County Forest Preserve District on Behalf of Woman Mauled by Pit Bull

Robert Clifford of Clifford Law Offices will file a civil lawsuit February 10, 2003,  against the Cook County Forest Preserve District on behalf of a South Side Chicago woman who survived a vicious attack by two pit bulls Jan. 12 in the Dan Ryan Woods.

On February 10, Attorney Kevin P. Durkin will discuss the ramifications of this action at a 3 p.m. press conference at Clifford Law Offices, 120 N. LaSalle St., 11th Floor, Chicago. Mary Murphy-Smith, who was attacked last month by the pit bulls, will make a statement to the press. Also on hand will be her husband Charles, who appeared last week before the City Council. Mary was released from Little Company of Mary Hospital last week.
