Clifford Offers Viewpoint on new Trial Standards
Press Release, 06/22/1998Robert Clifford is part of an all-star panel that will discuss the civil trial practice standards recently adopted by the American Bar Association (ABA) Thursday 2-3 p.m. at the United States District Courthouse in Chicago.
Clifford, along with several members of the ABA's Litigation Section will present the program with the Honorable Marvin Aspen moderating in the James Benton Parsons Memorial Courtroom, Room 2525.
The esteemed panel of attorneys will offer their assessment of these standards that are meant to serve as guidelines in assisting judges and lawyers in civil cases in both state and federal courts.
Clifford has long been an active member of the ABA's Litigation Section, the largest group of that legal organization. He is scheduled to lead a team of plaintiff's lawyers at the ABA's Annual Meeting in Toronto when they put on the civil trial in August of the sinking of the Titanic.
