Clifford Speaks in London
Press Release, 04/28/1999Robert Clifford of Clifford Law Offices is speaking today at a Lloyd's of London conference on aviation disaster claims.
Clifford, who has represented victims of every commercial airline disaster in the last two decades, will address insurance executives and attorneys from across the world on evaluating wrongful death claims and punitive damages.
The presentation is part of The Avcon Conference at the Lloyd's of London Training Center. Each year underwriters, claims handling personnel and other insurance industry executives study improved methods of processing commercial aviation disaster claims and related family assistance issues.
Clifford also will discuss these claims under the Warsaw Convention and the revised IATA Agreement which removes the traditional cap on damages that can be sought in litigation involving international flight, particularly the claims involving the SwissAir 111 crash.
