Clifford Law Offices Receives $1.5 Million Arbitration Award
Press Release, 03/27/2006Clifford Law Offices obtained a $1.5 million arbitration award Monday (March 27, 2006) on behalf of a 43-year-old man who was injured in a motor vehicle accident on the Elgin/O’Hare Expressway on Oct. 4, 2002.
Robert P. Walsh, partner at Clifford Law Offices, represented Forrest Fairall of St. Charles who suffered a fractured cervical vertebra, a fractured elbow and a hip dislocation when he was hit head-on by another vehicle. A car traveling westbound on the expressway changed lanes abruptly, cutting off a truck that swerved to avoid that car but hit Fairall head-on in the eastbound lanes.
The matter was arbitrated pursuant to Fairall’s policy with Atlantic Mutual Insurance Company that provided uninsured motorist coverage. The Honorable Angelo Mistretta (retired), now with ADR Systems, signed the arbitration award Monday.
