Robert Clifford Speaks to DePaul Law Students at ABA Day
Press Release, 03/09/2010As the Illinois State Delegate to the American Bar Association (ABA) House of Delegates, Robert Clifford, senior partner at Clifford Law Offices, is dedicated to helping law students in their job searches as well as in the profession.
Toward that end, he is spearheading the effort to sponsor ABA Day at each law school in the state. Most recently, he was at his alma mater, DePaul University College of Law, where he spoke to a crowded room of students about the importance of joining bar associations. He also generously pays for the first year of ABA dues for participating students who sign-up for a law student membership on that day.
The day is filled with a panel discussion on the job market with lawyers who are members of the ABA, individual resume review for students as well as speed networking and a reception so that students can put those skills to work.
