Personal injury and aviation accident attorney at Clifford Law, Kevin Durkin was featured in Chicago Lawyer Magazine in an article called The Durkin 5. Of the eight Durkin brothers, five of them have become respected legal professionals in Illinois.
The article talks about how the brothers grew up in Chicago’s West Side, later relocating to a house on Canterbury Street in Westchester. Their mother, a petite woman, was described by her sons as being “tough as nails.” Their father, who was an accountant, had a strong influence in the oldest three brothers to get degrees in accounting. He later encouraged them to go to law school.
The Durkin 5 have made their mark into the Illinois’ legal history. According to the article, “the name “Durkin” in the digital Chicago Daily Law Bulletin archives nets nearly 650 stories and briefs dating back to 1991, most of which mention one or more of this particular set of Durkins.”
Kevin Durkin has been a partner at Clifford Law Offices since 1993. He was president of The Chicago Bar Association for the 2006-07 term.
