Bob Clifford, Kevin Durkin and Tracy Brammeier Obtain Record $35 Million Settlement for Young Woman Injured When Dragged by Truck in Chicago

After a week at trial, Robert A. Clifford and Kevin P. Durkin, partners at Clifford Law Offices, along with associate Tracy A. Brammeier obtained a record $35 million settlement on behalf of a 24-year old woman who was severely injured after a truck ran over her at a Chicago street corner and dragged her for 60 feet.

Pharmaceutical Companies Reportedly Paid $10 Million to Encourage Use of Opioids

A U.S. Senate committee reported Monday (Feb. 12, 2018) that the five largest opioid manufacturers paid more than $10 million directed in particular to patient advocacy groups and professional medical societies who would then encourage the use of those highly addictive drugs.
