A 68-year-old patient received emergent care for a suspected and developing pulmonary embolism. The plaintiff collapsed at home 36 hours after leaving the Chicagoland hospital which led to Plaintiff sustaining a non-fatal saddle pulmonary embolism that caused cardiac strain, a minor stroke, permanent shortness of breath.
