Bradley M. Cosgrove, partner and Clifford Law Offices, was elected the third vice president of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA), sworn in at its Annual Convention on June 5, 2026.
A highly successful trial lawyer with numerous record-breaking verdicts and settlements throughout his career, Bradley Cosgrove has been active in ITLA since becoming a lawyer 20 years ago. He currently sits on the organization’s Board of Managers, along with partner Sarah F. King.
“Coming from a family of firefighters, it is in my DNA to help victims achieve justice by securing and protecting their rights,” he said. “I look forward to a year of furthering the mission of this great organization and also having its members enjoy the ride along the way.”
An active leader in the Chicago community, Brad has been involved in projects such as the Chicago Chiefs Softball Association, the Annual Chicago Fire Fighters Picnic, and the Wounded Warrior Project. He is a long-time coach and sponsor of the annual University of Illinois Chicago 1L Mock Trial Competition, which has since been named in his honor, reflecting his years of service and commitment to educating future trial attorneys.
Throughout his career, Brad has been recognized for his trial expertise by several organizations, including being named to the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers, Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation, and the Top 100: 2025 Illinois Super Lawyers list.
