DePaul University’s Pre-Law Club (DUPLC) will be hosting their 2nd annual reception on Thursday, April 6th at DePaul’s Lincoln Park Campus in the Cortelyou Commons Main Hall, located at 2324 N. Fremont St. Chicago, IL 60614. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the event will run from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
All undergraduate and graduate students interested in law school and a career in the legal field from all the neighboring universities are encouraged to attend this business professional event. In addition, lawyers, judges, and others professionals in the legal field, are invited to the reception to speak with pre-law students, share stories, and answer questions students may have. DUPLC asks that all interested students and professionals please RSVP by March 10th via telephone or email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served throughout the reception. In addition, DUPLC will be hosting a few guest speakers, including Communications Partner from Clifford Law Offices and adjunct professor at Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism, Pamela Menaker, and DePaul College of Law Dean and Professor, Jennifer Rosato Perea, who will both be covering various topics within society and the connection to the legal world.
DUPLC is a student-run organization, dedicated to educating and providing a space for pre-law students at DePaul to further pursue their interests in a legal education and the legal field. This reception is designed to forge connections between undergraduate students from DePaul and other Chicago University’s, who are eager to learn about the legal field, with professionals in the legal field.
