Sarah F. King Elected to Chicago Bar Association Board of Managers

In June 2026, Sarah F. King, partner at Clifford Law Offices, was elected to a two-year term serving on the Chicago Bar Association (CBA) Board of Managers.

Known for representing individuals and families in complex medical malpractice litigation, where she has secured numerous record-setting verdicts and settlements, Sarah King has built a career that combines staunch courtroom advocacy with dedicated service to the legal profession. In addition to her litigation practice, she is the immediate past president of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, serves as treasurer and a member of the Board of Managers of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and was appointed to the Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Character and Fitness in 2024.

“I am deeply honored to have been selected to serve on the Board of Managers of the Chicago Bar Association,” King said.

“Being nominated to the board by my colleagues and having the opportunity to be part of the CBA’s 153-year legacy, as well as Clifford Law Offices’ longstanding leadership within this great organization, is truly an honor. I cannot wait to get to work.”

“Throughout my legal career, I have benefited tremendously from the mentorship, professionalism, and collegiality that our legal community provides, and I welcome the opportunity to give back in a meaningful way. I look forward to collaborating with the other members of the CBA Board, Committee Chairs, and 2026-2027 CBA President Trisha Rich to continue the organization’s great work of educating lawyers, building community, protecting the rule of law, promoting excellence in the practice of law, and fostering opportunities for professional growth among attorneys at every stage of their careers.”

King’s election continues Clifford Law Offices’ longstanding involvement with the Chicago Bar Association, where firm attorneys have served in leadership roles for decades, including founder Robert A. Clifford, who served as CBA president in 2011-2012.

“Everyone at our firm is extremely proud of the accomplishments of Sarah King in the legal community and beyond,” Clifford said. “The CBA plays a vital role in encouraging ethical advocacy, legal education, public service, and meaningful engagement within the legal profession, and Sarah’s contributions of her time, energy, experience, and perspective to these important efforts will continue to build a stronger organization that serves the profession and the public with distinction.”
