Sarah F. King and Charles R. Haskins, associates at Clifford Law Offices, moderated a program Thursday on “Motion Practice in Cook County Circuit Court.”
The three-hour seminar included Judge James Flannery, Chief Judge of the Law Division, as well as Judges Melissa Durkin, Patricia O’Brien Sheahan, Lorna Propes and James Snyder. Topics that were covered included voluntary dismissal, discovery issues, directed verdict motions, post-trial motions, motions for summary judgment and motions in commercial cases in the Law Division.
The program was held at the CBA headquarters, 321 S. Plymouth Ct., Chicago, as well as on the web and offered continuing legal education credit.
