Sarah F. King, attorney at Clifford Law Offices, has been elected 2019-2020 President of Women Everywhere. She has served on its Board for the last several years, having been Vice President last year.
Women Everywhere (“WE”) is a not-for-profit organization comprised of attorneys and judges dedicated to creating opportunities for women through education and community service.
Every year WE hosts its’ annual Education Day, inviting 200-300 public high school girls to tour state and federal courts and meet with participating judges and attorneys. Each year WE awards up to four scholarships to Education Day participants who want to make a difference in their community by pursuing a college education. It also sponsors projects that aim to inspire, encourage and provide assistance to hundreds of women.
King, an attorney at the firm since 2011, also serves on the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (“ITLA”) Board of Managers where she has received its’ Amicus Volunteer Award for the past several years. She currently serves as the Chair of the ITLA Women’s Caucus. She has been one of the Law Bulletin Publishing Company’s 40 Under 40 and Crain’s Custom Media named her one of Chicago’s Most Influential Women Lawyers in 2017.
