King served as President of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois and currently chairs the organization’s political action committee, WILPOWER. She will also be sworn in as Secretary of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association in June, where she co-founded the Women’s Caucus, which has grown to hundreds of lawyers throughout Illinois. The ten recipients of the Elite Women of the Platinffs Bar award will gather on July 23 in New York City to accept their awards at the JW Marriott Essex House. Finalists in other categories also will be in attendance.
