Sarah F. King, attorney at Clifford Law Offices, is part of an all-star panel to speak at the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin’s Women in Law conference Dec. 5. The keynote speaker at the event is Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot.
King is among a panel of “Women ‘Trialblazers’” who will address litigating major cases. She was among the trial team that recently obtained a record $101 million verdict for a baby who was brain damaged at birth. King gave the opening statement in that case that took five years of preparation. Among the other speakers on her panel include Cook County Circuit Court Judge Lorna Propes and Illinois Appellate Court Judge Aurelia Pucinski.
The half-day program that includes a seminar on rainmaking and legal academic leaders offers three hours of continuing legal education credit. The program will be held at Maggiano’s, 516 N. Clark St., Chicago. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.
