    A small jet plane crashed on Monday morning (December 8, 2014) into a home located in the residential neighborhood of Gaithersburg, Maryland. ABC News reported that the impact of the plane in the Washington D.C. suburb resulted in a fire that spread to several nearby houses. It was also reported by the Associated Press that the death toll has not reached six – three people who were inside a house that was hit were killed in addition to the three inside the plane that crashed.

    Inquisitr has reported that investigations being done have confirmed that the aircraft involved in the small plane crash was an Embraer EMB-500/Phenom 100 twin-engine jet. The jet was reportedly on its way to the Montgomery County Airpark according to Inquisitr. The plane crash is being investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).
