Clifford Law Offices and Partner Kevin Durkin Sponsor the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation’s 2025 Valor Awards

Each year, the Chicago Police Department Memorial Foundation honors the lives of Chicago police officers who have demonstrated exceptional courage in the line of duty. Clifford Law Offices has sponsored the awards ceremony for several years as part of its ongoing commitment to giving back to the Chicago community and supporting families who have experienced the loss of a loved one.

The 2025 Chicago Police Memorial Foundation (CPMF) Valor Awards ceremony will take place on October 22, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., at Theater on the Lake in Chicago, IL. Kevin P. Durkin, partner at Clifford Law Offices, will join Robert A. Clifford and the firm as a sponsor, showing a collective appreciation for the officers who serve Chicago and support for the families who carry on the legacies of those lost in the line of duty.

“As a member of the Executive Board, I have seen firsthand the critical work the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation does to support officers’ families during their most difficult times. The Valor Awards are a powerful reminder of the bravery of Chicago police officers and the importance of standing with them and their loved ones.”
— Kevin P. Durkin, Partner, Clifford Law Offices

He has long supported the non-profit organization’s mission to provide additional funding to support the families of Chicago Police Officers who are killed or catastrophically injured in the line of duty. In 2019, Kevin and his seven brothers collectively received the organization’s Golden Vest Award, honoring the Durkin family’s ongoing dedication to the Foundation’s mission.

Known for his philanthropic efforts and contributions to various organizations that support education, families, and law, Bob Clifford received CPMF’s 2015 Person of Valor award, honoring his ongoing support of the Foundation, as well as his leadership and dedication to the city of Chicago.

The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the lives of fallen Chicago Police officers. It provides support and financial assistance to the families of Chicago police officers who have been killed or catastrophically injured in the line of duty. The aid provided by The Foundation supplements the support families receive from the Chicago Police Department in an effort to alleviate the overwhelming emotional and financial burdens of losing a family member. CPMF also supports educational expenses for the children of those officers, covering tuition, room and board, and other educational expenses from pre-school through graduate school.
