Bob Clifford to Speak on Aviation Law Strategies

Robert A. Clifford, founder and senior partner at Clifford Law Offices, will be speaking on “Master Plaintiff and Defense Strategies in Modern Aviation Litigation” as part of a two-hour CLE webinar held noon-2:10 p.m. CDT on Friday, March 20, through myLawCLE.

Presenting alongside Taylor Sandella of Kreindler & Kreindler of New York, he will offer practice-focused, strategic advice from intake to resolution on topics including targeted discovery and deposition strategies, maximizing recovery, and jurisdictional and venue considerations.

Bob Clifford is Lead Counsel representing 74 of the 157 people from 35 countries who were killed onboard a Boeing 737-MAX8 plane that crashed in Ethiopia in 2019. He was the first to file against the government in the midair crash of a commercial regional jet and a Navy helicopter over the Potomac River on January 29, 2025, representing families of nine passengers killed in that tragedy. The firm also filed four cases against Boeing in late July 2025 on behalf of four flight attendants who were on board the Alaska Air plane when a door plug flew off mid-flight on January 5, 2024. He has also filed seven wrongful death and personal injury lawsuits in the tragic crash of a UPS cargo jet in Louisville, Kentucky, on November 4, 2025.
