$1M- Keith A. Hebeisen, David F. Jasinski
A 76-year-old male presented to the urologist with reports of abnormal urological symptoms along with numerous urinalyses and urine cultures, which were reported as positive for Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) over a several-month period. Despite this, the Plaintiff underwent prostate surgery without any pre- or post-operative course of treatment to address MRSA and later died due to complications of MRSA bacteremia and MRSA urinary tract infection. The case settled for $1,000,000.
