Sarah F. King and Charles R. Haskins, associates at Clifford Law Offices, are co-moderating a Chicago Bar Association program on “Motion Practice in Cook County Circuit Court.”
The program, to be held Thursday, Jan. 17, from 2-5 p.m. will include Chief Judge James Flannery as well as Judges Melissa Durkin, Patricia O’Brien Sheahan, Lorna Propes and James Snyder. Topics to be covered include voluntary dismissal, discovery issues, directed verdict motions, post-trial motions, motions for summary judgment and motions in commercial cases.
The program, that also is available via the web, will be held at the CBA headquarters, 321 S. Plymouth Ct., Chicago, and offers 2.75 hours of CLE credit. To register, go to www.Chicagobar.org and click on Register under the Education drop down bar.
