    Tracy A. Brammeier, associate at Clifford Law Offices and liaison counsel in the complex litigation involving the crash of a Boeing jet in Ethiopia, will be speaking at the American Bar Association Tort Trial and Insurance Practice (TIPS) conference to be held in Washington, D.C., Oct. 28-29.

    “Emerging Litigation and Regulatory Issues for the Aviation and Aerospace Industries in a Post-COVID-19 World” is the panel on which Brammeier will be speaking that includes Kathryn Inman of the Federal Aviation Administration. Other topics to be covered include “Damages in Air Crash Litigation,” “Litigating the Design Defect Case” and “Jury Research in the Era of Social Distancing.”

    Brammeier was appointed liaison counsel in the federal district court litigation involving the 2019 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft that crashed in Ethiopia, killing all on board. Clifford Law Offices represents 72 of those passengers from around the world.
