Tracy A. Brammeier, partner at Clifford Law Offices and member of the firm’s aviation practice group, will be speaking at the 16th Annual McGill Air & Space Law Institute Conference on International Liability, Finance & Insurance.
Brammeier will serve on a panel entitled “Debate: Is it time to revisit the Aviation Liability Regime?” The panel will focus on the 1999 Montreal Convention, which still applies to aviation crashes. Panelists will explore whether its core components remain timely or require an overhaul, particularly its liability limits and jurisdictional rules.
The two-day program will be held September 10-11 at the McGill Institute of Air and Space Law, 3690 Peel St., Montreal, Quebec.
