Richard F. Burke and James C. Pullos, partners at Clifford Law Offices, will be speaking Wednesday, July 21st, 2020 on “Business Interruption Claims: A discussion of the practical and legal issues” in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Burke and Pullos, who have been handling the loss of revenue claims for Illinois businesses due to their required closure during the pandemic, will be discussing language in insurance policies that may trigger coverage due to COVID-19 business losses as well as disputed issues involving direct physical loss or damage, civil authority and insurance exclusions.
NWSBA Past President George Bellas of Park Ridge Bellas and Wachowski and Raj Jutla of Arlington Heights Jutla Legal will moderate the discussion.
The Lunch and Learn webinar, sponsored by the Northwest Suburban Bar Association, will be held from noon to 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2020, and offers one hour of continuing legal education credit for NWSBA members.
