A 40-year-old woman was admitted to a Chicago area hospital and medical group for a sickle cell pain crisis. The hospital and medical group failed to properly treat the pain crisis, resulting in a cardiopulmonary arrest that led to irreversible hypoxic brain damage and death. The case settled for $4,000,000.

A $5.59 million verdict was secured on behalf of a Plaintiff who was treated at a hospital with a stenting procedure following a heart attack. Shortly after this procedure, Plaintiff developed clotting and blockage to the artery where the stent was placed, causing permanent heart damage and heart failure.
