Tracy Brammeier to Speak at ABA Aviation Conference

Clifford Law Offices partner Tracy A. Brammeier will speak at the American Bar Association’s two-day Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) Aviation & Aerospace Law Conference: Finding Smooth Air in Turbulent Times, in Washington, D.C.

An established aviation attorney known for her experience handling complex international litigation, Tracy Brammeier will join a panel titled “Aviation Investigations by Civil and Military Authorities in the U.S. and Abroad,” on October 23 at 3:30 PM. The group of attorneys and investigators will discuss the intersection of civil and military investigations surrounding aviation cases in the U.S. and internationally.

Tracy has represented families in aviation litigation related to the Boeing 737 MAX8 crashes in Ethiopia and Indonesia. She currently serves as court-appointed Liaison Counsel in the ongoing federal litigation against Boeing in the crash in Ethiopia, and is also involved in the firm’s representation of families of victims in the January 2025 crash of American Eagle Flight 5342 in D.C. Tracy’s experience with the Clifford Law Offices aviation practice group has provided her with a unique perspective on investigations involving the National Transportation Safety Board, international safety boards, and military authorities, as well as their impact on litigation strategies, settlement processes, and policy changes.

The panel will be moderated by Chris Hickey, Riley Safer Holmes & Cancila LLP, Los Angeles, and Tracy will be joined on the panel by Greg Feith, Former NTSB Senior Air Safety Investigator, Gregory A. Feith & Associates, Golden, CO; Kevin Lenehan, Sikorsky, A Lockheed Martin Company, Stratford, CT; and Naji Malek, Global Aerospace, Chicago, IL.
