Tracy Brammeier, partner at Clifford Law Offices, spoke at the annual Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA) Damages Seminar on February 14, 2025, at the Weston Chicago River North, 320 N. Dearborn, Chicago.

Brammeier spoke on “Presenting Damages for Foreign Nationals,” a topic she has been dealing with in her work the last five years as Liaison Counsel in the pending litigation in federal district court in Chicago against Boeing in the crash of a 737 MAX8 jet in Ethiopia that killed all 157 on board.

Registration for the half-day program offered 3.75 hours of continuing legal education credit. Other subjects that were covered included demonstrative evidence and closing arguments. The Hon. Brendan A. O’Brien, Cook County Circuit Court, offered a judicial perspective on damages.
