Since 2001, the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin has annually selected 40 young lawyers across Illinois to be honored in its list of 40 Attorneys Under 40 to Watch, or simply, “Forty Under 40.” Last year more than 1,400 attorneys were nominated for this honor. When deciding who belongs on this prestigious list, the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin looks at a lawyer’s “intelligence, passion, success in the office, a desire to help the community and, most importantly, a willingness to work hard at one of the country’s most important professions.”
